General Terms of Use and Sale

Last updated: 24 August 2026.

These terms explain how the AMITIE ARTISAN platform operates, the rules for publishing profiles and products, and the terms of professional subscriptions.

Article 1. Publisher and purpose of the platform

AMITIE ARTISAN is a SASU with share capital of 1,000 euros, with its registered office at 3 rue du Chêne Jean Queue, 08160 Étrépigny, registered with the Sedan Trade and Companies Register under number 884 562 067.

The amitie-artisan.fr website is a professional platform designed to help connect restaurant operators, farmers, producers and food artisans. In particular, it enables users to create professional profiles, present products and view information published by other users.

AMITIE ARTISAN provides a tool for visibility and networking. The platform is neither the seller of the products presented, nor the buyer, nor an agent of any user. Sales, orders, deliveries, invoices and any disputes are concluded and managed directly between the professionals concerned.

Article 2. Definitions

Website : the platform accessible in particular at amitie-artisan.fr.

User : any individual authorized to act on behalf of a professional who uses the website.

Profile : the area presenting a business, its activity, contact details, products and the information it chooses to publish.

Services : the features offered by AMITIE ARTISAN, including the creation, publication, viewing and management of professional profiles.

Subscription : paid access, for a one-year term, to features that allow the publication and maintenance of an active profile.

Article 3. Scope and acceptance

These terms apply to use of the website and the services offered by AMITIE ARTISAN. They are intended solely for professionals acting for business purposes, in particular in catering, agriculture, food production and crafts.

Creating an account, subscribing or using the services constitutes acceptance of these terms. The user acknowledges having read them and undertakes to comply with them throughout use of the website.

The version published on the website is the applicable version. AMITIE ARTISAN may update it to reflect changes to the service, technical constraints or legal obligations. Affected users will be informed by an appropriate means of any material change.

Article 4. Website access and availability

Public pages of the website are accessible to anyone with internet access. Features for creating and managing profiles are reserved for users with an account.

AMITIE ARTISAN takes reasonable measures to keep the platform operating properly. Access may nevertheless be limited, suspended or temporarily interrupted for maintenance, security, an update, a failure, force majeure or any event beyond its control.

The user remains responsible for their equipment, internet connection and any costs associated with accessing the website. AMITIE ARTISAN does not guarantee continuous, error-free or uninterrupted service.

Article 5. Account creation and security

To use the professional services, the user must create an account and provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information. The user declares that they have authority to bind the business they represent.

Login credentials are personal and confidential. The user is responsible for safeguarding them and for any use of their account. They must inform AMITIE ARTISAN without delay of any unauthorized use, loss or compromise of which they become aware.

AMITIE ARTISAN may request evidence reasonably necessary to verify a user’s professional status or the consistency of published information. If information is manifestly inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or contrary to these terms, the relevant account or content may be suspended or removed after informing the user where circumstances allow.

Article 6. Rules for publishing profiles and products

The user alone remains responsible for the information, photographs, prices, availability, quantities, descriptions, hours and contact details they publish. They warrant that they hold the necessary rights to submitted content and undertake to keep important information up to date.

Products presented must relate to the platform’s purpose: artisanal or local products, or products from food producers. The user undertakes to comply with regulations applicable to their activity, particularly concerning information, safety, traceability, hygiene, taxation and pricing.

• Do not publish unlawful, false, defamatory or discriminatory content, or content that infringes a third party’s rights.

• Do not use other users’ content, contact details or data for purposes unrelated to professional networking.

• Do not publish products or services unrelated to the food, artisanal or agricultural activity presented on the platform.

Content that breaches these rules may be removed. In cases of repeated or serious breaches, AMITIE ARTISAN may suspend access to the services without prejudice to any rights it may exercise.

Article 7. License granted for published content

The user retains the rights they hold in the content they publish. They grant AMITIE ARTISAN a non-exclusive, royalty-free authorization limited to what is necessary for the operation, display, distribution and promotion of the platform.

This authorization includes displaying the business name, products, photographs and descriptions on the website, in AMITIE ARTISAN’s communication materials and in communications about the platform, for as long as the profile or content is online.

Article 8. Subscriptions, prices and payments

Publishing and maintaining an active professional profile requires an annual subscription. The applicable price depends on the offer or profile type selected and is displayed before payment is confirmed. The user can check the amount before confirming the subscription.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe using the payment methods offered at the time of subscription. AMITIE ARTISAN does not have access to the full bank card details entered in the payment form.

The subscription takes effect after payment is confirmed. Until payment is confirmed, the profile may remain pending publication or paid features may remain unavailable.

Article 9. Term, expiry and renewal

Each subscription is entered into for one year from activation. The expiry date is shown in the customer area while the subscription is active.

The subscription does not renew automatically. No new payment is charged without action by the user: the user chooses whether to renew the subscription from their customer area.

At expiry, the profile no longer appears in public search results. It remains accessible to its owner in the customer area so they can view and edit it and request renewal. Renewal is available during the thirty days before expiry and may also be requested after the subscription has expired.

If payment fails, is cancelled or is not made, the subscription is not activated or renewed. These terms do not exclude any applicable mandatory statutory rights.

Article 10. Moderation, suspension and closure

To ensure the platform operates properly, AMITIE ARTISAN may correct a technical error, remove manifestly non-compliant content, limit certain features, suspend an account or refuse to publish a profile where necessary for website security, compliance with these terms or user protection.

Where a measure affects an account, AMITIE ARTISAN endeavors to explain the reason to the user, unless prevented by law, a risk of fraud, a security emergency or the need to protect a third party’s rights.

The user may request deletion of their account from the dedicated page of the website. Account deletion does not erase data whose retention is required by law or necessary for managing a dispute, a payment or an accounting obligation.

Article 11. Platform intellectual property

The structure of the website, its trademarks, logos, graphics, text, software, databases and their arrangement are protected by intellectual property rights. They remain the property of AMITIE ARTISAN or their respective rights holders.

Any unauthorized reproduction, extraction, copying, adaptation, distribution or exploitation of all or part of the website is prohibited, unless AMITIE ARTISAN has given prior written authorization or a mandatory legal provision applies.

Article 12. Personal data and cookies

Data needed to create accounts, provide services, process payments, ensure security and manage user relationships are processed for those purposes. Users may exercise their rights by contacting AMITIE ARTISAN. Details of processing, retention and exercise of rights are set out in the privacy policy.

The website may use tracking technologies strictly necessary for its operation, in particular to maintain a session or secure access. Where other tracking technologies require consent, that consent must be obtained before they are placed. The privacy policy forms an integral part of the information provided to users.

Article 13. Links to third-party websites

The website may contain links to websites, services or resources published by third parties. These links are provided for convenience. Their presence does not mean that AMITIE ARTISAN endorses their content, practices or terms of use.

The user visits third-party websites at their own risk. AMITIE ARTISAN cannot be held liable for their availability, content, personal-data practices or contractual relationships entered into with their publishers.

Article 14. Liability

Each professional is solely responsible for their offers, communications, conclusion and performance of sales, and compliance with legal, regulatory, tax and health obligations. They are responsible for checking information supplied by other users before any transaction.

AMITIE ARTISAN does not take part in negotiations, orders, payments, deliveries or any disputes between users. It does not guarantee the availability, quality or compliance of products or services offered by listed professionals.

To the extent permitted by law, AMITIE ARTISAN cannot be held liable for the consequences of a dispute between professionals connected through the platform, or for harm resulting from information published by a user.

Article 15. Force majeure, evidence and severability

Neither party may be held liable for a failure caused by an event of force majeure under French law, such as an unforeseeable and irresistible event that temporarily or permanently prevents performance of its obligations.

Electronic communications, connection logs, payment confirmations and other technical records may be used as evidence, subject to applicable legal rules.

If a provision of these terms is held void, unenforceable or inapplicable, the other provisions remain in full force and effect.

Article 16. Applicable law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a difficulty, the parties will endeavor to find an amicable solution before starting any proceedings.

Failing an amicable agreement, the dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the competent courts under the applicable procedural rules and subject to mandatory legal provisions.
